Warehouse Operator - 3rd Shift ($27.31/hr.)
Short & Sweet: This position requires responsibility for the knowledge of warehousing operations, familiarization with production operation/requirements, corporate and governmental policies, computer reports and safety procedures/policies.
Schedule: 11:00pm - 7:30pm
***Weekends & Holiday's Required
Outline of Job Duties:
- Inspect, verify incoming and outbound shipments with accordance with Corporate guidelines.
- Load trailers according to customer release, Corporate policy, and/or special instructions from foreperson/supervisor.
- Comply with safety policies/procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Operate forklift, battery chargers, trailer refrigeration units, and any other warehouse equipment.
- Perform SAP transactions with a hand-held RF Scanner or a terminal as required in the department.
- Deliver supplies and/or raw materials on a timely basis to staging areas.
- Prepare inspection forms, pallet exchange forms, warehouse logs and other shipping/receiving paperwork. Review Bill of Ladings (BOL) and Certificate of Analysis (COA) for accuracy.
- Re-palletize, re-label, and/or re-wrap according to customer or Corporate specifications.
- Conduct inventory and reconciliation according to corporate guidelines and foreperson/supervisor instructions. This includes assigned cycle counts.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Must be able to lift 40lbs from floor to mid-chest (0" - 39") weekly
- Forklift driving experience or the ability to learn with high level of proficiency.
- Must be able to support a 24/7/365 operation including holidays and weekends
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Preferred:
- Prior experience in food industry.
- Demonstrated experience operating a stand-up forklift model.
