IT Security Analyst
Within our Corporate IT team in Denver, Leprino is seeking an IT Security Analyst to help protect and strengthen the technology that supports our global dairy manufacturing operations. At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $85,000 and $95,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor, configure, and support Leprino’s core security platforms across Microsoft 365, endpoint protection, authentication systems, and email security tools.
- Investigate security incidents, coordinate response activities, and build clear remediation plans with IT and plant technical teams.
- Serve as the technical lead for assigned security tools, building strong system knowledge and helping shape practical security standards.
- Support Microsoft security administration across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender, and related cloud security services.
- Partner with infrastructure and architecture teams to strengthen existing security controls and help build new protections.
- Represent IT Security during Change Advisory Board meetings and provide thoughtful input on system changes that may affect enterprise security.
- Review security posture findings, prioritize mitigation efforts, and coordinate follow-through across technical teams.
- Support daily operations with user access requests, role maintenance, ticket resolution, and security-related service requests.
- Coordinate with Leprino’s co-sourced Security Operations Center and external security partners to support monitoring and response activities.
- Help onboard and support remote security resources while maintaining clear operational continuity.
- Contribute to end-user security awareness efforts by supporting communication, training content, and awareness initiatives.
- Share insights from technical research, industry developments, and security training to strengthen team knowledge and readiness.
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise security tools and Microsoft security environments.
- A strong background supporting Microsoft 365 security administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Defender security capabilities.
- Experience investigating security incidents, responding to threats, and supporting malware containment and remediation activities.
- Experience working with authentication systems, endpoint protection platforms, and enterprise access management tools.
- Experience using SIEM platforms, log analysis tools, and threat hunting methodologies.
- A working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, directory synchronization, and identity security controls.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- A master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, GIAC, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, or similar security credentials.
- Experience supporting security operations within manufacturing or other complex operational technology environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Rights Management Services, Azure cloud security, and advanced Microsoft security tooling.
- Experience coordinating with managed security service providers or co-sourced SOC environments.
