Within our Corporate Nutrition Sales team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Sales Manager to strengthen and grow partnerships across our nutrition ingredients business within the industrial segment. At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $113,000 and $128,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 12%.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain B2B relationships with traders, distributors, and regional industrial customers.
  • Grow assigned industrial accounts while expanding into new nutrition ingredient opportunities.
  • Sell nutrition ingredients including sweet whey, lactose, and protein solutions into industrial markets.
  • Balance account ownership with targeted new business development across assigned territories.
  • Coordinate pricing, contracts, inventory positions, and order flow for industrial customers.
  • Write clear pricing structures and support contract discussions with transparency and accuracy.
  • Monitor commodity activity and collaborate internally to support market responsiveness.
  • Lead customer discussions focused on industrial applications, formulation needs, and commercial fit.
  • Plan and support trade shows, customer visits, and international meetings tied to industrial markets.
  • Share timely account updates through regular reviews and collaborative planning sessions.

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
  • Six or more years of sales experience managing accounts, distributors, or trading partners.
  • Experience supporting both new business development and existing customer portfolios.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate pricing, contracts, and inventory-related discussions.
  • Ability to travel up to 33% of the time, including domestic and international travel.

 

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master’s degree in business, international business, or a related discipline.
  • Language skills in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese.
  • Sales experience in commodity-based nutrition or ingredient markets.
  • Background collaborating across functions such as product development, quality, logistics, or finance.
