Description: 

Within our Corporate Finance team in Denver — Leprino is seeking a Revenue Assurance Analyst (Deductions) to investigate and resolve customer deductions, protect revenue, and improve billing accuracy. You’ll work across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Credit, and other teams to resolve disputes, identify recurring issues, and strengthen our quote-to-cash processes.

 

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $78,000 and $88,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Investigate customer deductions by reviewing bills of lading, pricing confirmations, proof of delivery, claim documentation, and other supporting records.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end resolution of customer deductions, ensuring timely disposition, accurate documentation, and appropriate financial treatment.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to validate deductions, resolve disputes, and recover revenue when appropriate.
  • Process invoice corrections, credit memos, debit memos, and related financial adjustments in accordance with established policies.
  • Resolve aged, complex, and high-value deductions while escalating issues that require additional support or cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track deduction activity, reasons, correction types, aging, and performance.
  • Analyze deduction trends to identify root causes, process gaps, data quality concerns, and opportunities to prevent recurring issues.
  • Coordinate with business and technical teams to address data quality issues and improve the accuracy of billing and revenue information.
  • Support cross-functional projects that simplify processes, improve invoice accuracy, and reduce future customer deductions.

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • Three years of experience in deductions management, customer dispute resolution, billing, credit, or a related finance function.
  • Experience investigating and resolving customer claims, deductions, chargebacks, or billing disputes.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including using data to investigate issues and support financial analysis.
  • Availability to travel as required for the role.

 

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with an ERP system such as SAP.
  • Experience developing reports or dashboards to analyze deduction, billing, accounts receivable, or other financial activity.
  • Experience identifying root causes and supporting process improvements within a finance, billing, credit, or revenue-related function.
