Within our Corporate Supply Chain team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst (Cream & Dairy Liquids) / (Internally known as a Cream Sales Analyst) to coordinate real-time sales, scheduling, and transportation activities across our plant network. This role operates at the center of weekly execution, connecting plant production, customer demand, and freight movement to keep product flowing. You will work closely with internal transportation partners, carriers, and customers to respond to changes quickly and maintain reliable service!

 

At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $73,000 and $81,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 5%.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and adjust weekly cream and other dairy liquids schedules based on real-time plant output and customer demand
  • Coordinate order-to-cash activities, including order tracking, invoicing, and issue resolution across plants and customers
  • Communicate daily with carriers and customers to keep shipments on time and resolve disruptions quickly
  • Monitor loads in transit, address cancellations, and secure new transportation when plans shift
  • Review rejected product and redirect or sell inventory to reduce waste and protect value
  • Analyze pricing, butterfat, and weight data to identify gaps and correct discrepancies
  • Create and share weekly performance reports that show sales results and operational trends
  • Partner with finance and credit teams to improve invoice timing and reduce delays
  • Support the movement and sale of additional dairy liquids such as condensed skim or whey when supply is available
  • Strengthen relationships with carrier partners by coordinating schedules, clarifying expectations, and improving service consistency
  • Improve workflows by organizing data, refining reports, and simplifying how information moves across teams
  • Partner with the internal transportation team to execute freight strategies, align on priorities, and ensure carriers meet service expectations
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (one week per month) to respond to plant changes, carrier issues, and weather-related disruptions

 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, economics, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in sales operations, transportation, order-to-cash, or supply chain execution within food, dairy, or food distribution
  • Experience working with transportation carriers, freight coordination, or logistics planning
  • Experience using Excel to organize, analyze, and present operational or financial data
  • The ability to support a rotating on-call schedule, including nights and weekends, approximately one week per month
  • The ability to travel up to 10%

  • A master’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field
  • Experience working with liquid dairy products such as cream, condensed skim, or whey
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
  • Experience improving processes across sales, transportation, or financial workflows
