Senior Financial Analyst (IT)
Within our Corporate Finance team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership and insight for our Information Technology organization. This role partners closely with IT leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, capital investments, financial reporting, and technology initiatives across the company.
At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $89,000 and $101,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 10%.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and deliver financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations that help IT leadership make informed business and technology investment decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports while supporting the accounting close process for IT operating and capital expenditures.
- Analyze IT spending, cost center performance, and financial trends, providing clear explanations of variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate the annual IT budgeting process, develop budget templates, consolidate financial data, and support forecast updates throughout the year.
- Partner with Vendor Management, Corporate Accounting, Plant Controllers, and IT leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts, cost allocations, and financial reporting.
- Support capital investment planning by monitoring project financial performance, evaluating business cases, and tracking return on investment for technology initiatives.
- Administer SAP Investment Management, support project teams, and maintain accurate financial information for the IT project portfolio.
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment of technology expenditures, including expense allocations, accruals, CapEx and OpEx classifications, and multi-year software agreements.
- Develop and improve financial reports, accounting processes, and internal controls that strengthen financial transparency and reporting efficiency.
- Build reporting tools and financial models that communicate complex financial information in a clear and meaningful way.
- Support Corporate Accounting and Supply Chain Finance with budgeting, accounting, reporting, and annual financial planning activities as needed.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similarly relevant subject area.
- Four (4) or more years of accounting, finance, or financial analysis experience, including experience supporting IT, technology organizations, capital investments, or project accounting.
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial models.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency along with working knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Experience supporting CapEx and OpEx accounting, project accounting, or technology investment reporting.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similarly relevant subject area.
- Six (6) or more years of finance or accounting experience supporting IT, technology organizations, or capital project portfolios.
- CPA or MBA.
- Experience with IT financial planning, project portfolio financial management, financial dashboards, or business intelligence reporting tools.
