Senior Manager, Supply Chain (Ascent)
Within the Ascent Protein team located in Denver – we are seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead the development and coordination of the end-to-end supply chain supporting our Ascent business. This role will build scalable supply chain capabilities that support continued brand growth, strengthen planning and inventory performance, expand external manufacturing and warehousing partnerships, and improve margin as the business grows.
At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $134,000 and $154,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 15%.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain solutions that support Ascent’s growth, innovation, and customer needs.
- Assess existing Leprino supply chain capabilities and identify where new processes, partnerships, or capabilities are needed to support the business.
- Build efficient and scalable supply chain solutions that allow the business to introduce new products and respond quickly to changing demand.
- Lead the selection, qualification, and ongoing coordination of key external supply chain partners, including third-party manufacturers and warehouses.
- Guide daily supply chain activities across planning, inventory, materials, manufacturing partners, warehousing, and related functions.
- Lead production planning and balance supply commitments with customer service expectations, inventory needs, and financial goals.
- Establish appropriate finished goods and input-material inventory targets to improve product availability and reduce out-of-stock risk.
- Maintain effective finished goods traceability capabilities across the supply chain.
- Lead supply chain margin-improvement efforts and identify opportunities to reduce costs across raw materials, fulfillment, co-manufacturing, and related services.
- Negotiate with suppliers and external partners to improve commercial terms and support long-term cost efficiency.
- Partner closely with Finance, IT, Quality, Master Data, and broader Leprino Supply Chain teams to coordinate priorities and support business growth.
- Develop and mentor a direct report while building the capabilities needed to support an expanding supply chain organization.
You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, operations, or a related field.
- Eight years of progressive supply chain experience across areas such as planning, logistics, operations, inventory, or external manufacturing.
- Strong experience with demand planning, production planning, and materials planning.
- Experience coordinating complex supply chain activities across internal teams and external business partners.
We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting a consumer products, food and beverage, or similarly complex supply chain environment.
- Experience working with third-party manufacturers, warehouses, fulfillment providers, or other external supply chain partners.
- Experience developing or expanding supply chain capabilities for a growing business, product portfolio, or new commercial channel.
- Experience within Leprino’s Supply Chain organization across multiple supply chain functions.
