The Fort Morgan Team is seeking a Maintance Tech  to help us achieve our goals.

 

We Ask of You To:

This position will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.  This includes mechanical, preventative and predictive maintenance on pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes, conveying systems, repair and troubleshooting of malfunctioning electrical or instrumentation systems and the recalibration of instruments paying attention to OSHA Safety Rules, Food Safety Policies and Company Regulations.

You Must Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 2 years experience in the maintenance field; Strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude 
  • Must be able to work all shifts, weekends and Holidays 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures 
  • Must be team orientated, self-motivated and communicate effectively, oral and written 
  • Able to perform essential job functions of the position 
  • Able to handle varying work conditions from extremely hot/humid to cold 

 

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications): 

Two (2) or more years prior experience in the Dairy Industry as a maintenance technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background along with three (3) months on-the-job experience is necessary to become proficient in the maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, AC frequency drives, electrical controls, instrumentation, schematic reading, welding, mechanical (sprockets & gearboxes), T/S technique and PLC knowledge.
