Parts Room Attendant

Within our 600-person Roswell manufacturing facility, we are seeking a Parts Room Attendant to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels!
At Leprino, starting compensation for this role starts at $20.88/hr. with an increase to $22.71/hr. upon reaching 6 months with the Company. Shift differential pay is $1.25/hr. from 6 PM - 6 AM.
We Ask of You to:
- Physically receive freight and input data into MAXIMO, tag received freight and stock all items in their proper location.
- Cycle count inventory. Count stock items and enter counts and data into MAXIMO accurately.
- Operate computer-based inventory and purchasing systems.
- Provide timely and efficient customer service in the MRO Storeroom to include issuing and receiving parts, equipment and supplies as requested.
- Enter appropriate data into handheld devices and RF inventory scanners when required.
- Prepare necessary paperwork to process a “rush” request, or “Special Order” for internal customers.
- Put inventory away, identify back-stock locations; maintain cleanliness and orderliness in Storeroom rows.
- Completes special projects/assignments as required by the Supervisor and Manager.
- Performs lift truck driving for storage and retrieval of materials.
- Contact vendors to request confirmation of orders and confirm delivery dates of materials.
- Identify stock-out items and communicate immediately.
- Load and unload freight following all applicable processes and safety rules. Validate that the item unloaded matches the bill of lading and is not damaged.
- Perform housekeeping duties in all parts storage locations.
- Ensure the log is filled out properly for packaging, logging and dropping off shipments.
- Communicate well between production department, other maintenance technicians and department management.
- Have sound independent judgment and decision-making capability.
- Work in high noise areas and extreme temperature changes.
- Work safely with hazardous chemicals and wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Be willing to support a 24/7 operation by being available to work weekends and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience:
- Possess experience with windows-based computer programs (SAP and Maximo a plus).
- Possess experience with Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Have knowledge of inventory control procedures.
- Must be willing to work nights, days, holidays, weekends and rotating shifts.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs., climb stairs, vertical ladders and inclined ladders, work with arms fully extended in front of body and above head. Must also be able to squat, kneel, crawl, lie on back and stomach, work in environments with varying degrees of temperature, work around chemical fumes, work in tight spaces and around sharp edges and work with hammering and impact tools.
